Tokyo: Trains and Stations

Shibuya Eki: turnstiles leading to the Hachiko statue

Shibuya Eki: Hachiko Entrance

Jiyuugaoka Eki: view from the platform

Ikebukuro Eki: Seibu Shopping Centre, closed at 8PM

The Japanese have a really disciplined sense of time. They know it's a resource that you shouldn't waste. At least that's what I observed in 2011, when all these pictures were taken--in the three key stations I regularly visited when I was there. The trains come on time, I tell you! (And I say that like a stupid adult who has only ever experienced the MRT and LRT in the Philippines).
