My name is Rapunzel. Most of my friends call me Razel (in different accents and stresses, mostly with the accompanying and rhyming 'dazzle'). I am a graduate student and an English teacher. I love taking photographs, but I wouldn't call myself a photographer. Yet.
I started taking photos when I was in fifth grade. That's when I bought my very first camera, a Kodak manual point-and-shoot (that boasted an automatic flash, which I now know is not something a camera should boast about). Ever since, I've taken lots and lots of pictures--some I've kept in one of my many hard drives, some I've already forgotten about, and some I've lost either over time or over ugly bouts of depression coupled with the tearing or throwing away or deleting or in worst cases, burning of such photos (kidding!).
This blog is just my way of throwing my works out there. I'm still learning, that's for sure. And I'm really thankful to those who have posed in front of my Nikon D5000 countless times.
